You will absolutely love this authentic vintage ladies apron, in PRISTINE unused condition. This adorable apron was designed by Betty Lake Heald for her company Flamstead of Vermont. According to the University of Vermont website, Betty was a 1944 graduate from the university. She later began her own silk screen design business Flamstead of Vermont in Chester Vermont.
Just look at the darling design on this wonderful vintage apron. Apron is a bright PINK color and silk screen is all white. Cutest variety of birds among blossoms, on branches, feeding their young and soaring off. Apron has never been used and still retains original tags and original price tag. Price tag is stapled to the apron’s sash, it was customary in the 50’s and 60’s to staple price tags to garments! Original price on apron was $7.50, but looks as if it was later reduced in red to $5.00. Original label reads, "Made by Flamstead of Vermont" "65% Dacron Polyester 35% Cotton" There is an additional tag with washing instructions. Machine wash low. Apron is one size fits most, but leans towards a smaller size. It’s getting harder to find the vintage aprons in this condition, and such a cute design too! Don’t miss out on this cutey.
