Vintage Franshaw North Dakota / South Dakota state map souvenir hankie NO original label attached. Great coloring with flowers from each state along the scalloped border. For North Dakota there is the wild prairie rose and for South Dakota the pasque , or May Day flower. Many landmarks and cities shown on the map including: Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, Chamberlain,Madison, Salem, Rapid City, Ellendale, Bismarck, Grafton, Carrington and many, many more. Gently used vintage condition with no damage I can see. Hankie measures about 13.5" square.

Souvenir state hankies were a popular item to bring home from vacation in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Franshaw was the most well know maker of state map hankies. Be sure to view our other states!
