Gorgeous vintage ladies souvenir handkerchief in perfect unused condition. Lovely hankie features the great state of California all embroidered with points of interest and landmarks. You will find: San Diego, Los Angeles, Monterey, Sequoia National Park, Mt. Shasta, Santa Cruz, Sacramento & more! Delicate scalloped edge of hankie is stitched in pale blue. The word CALIFORNIA is stitched in poppy gold with a blue C. The California state flower the golden poppy is also shown.

Hankie still wears it’s original Franshaw label which reads Cotton Sheer Made in Switzerland. The Swiss have long been known for their quality hankies and embroidery work.
