This scalloped childs handkerchief features two lively colts playing in a pasture. One is black and one is brown, and they are running on a bed of green. The sky in the background has some pink in it to match the clovers. In the top two corners there are pink clovers and shamrocks or three leaf clovers (which is what a shamrock is!). I recently learned that In Irish tradition the Shamrock or 3-leaf Clover represents the Holy Trinity: one leaf for the Father, one for the Son, and one for the Holy Spirit. When a Shamrock is found with the fourth leaf, it represents God’s Grace. I thought that was rather nice. Handkerchief measures about 10" square, excellent new condition. Maybe a nice Saint Patricks gift.
