Gorgeous fluffy purple roses grace this dreamy vintage round ladies handkerchief. Teeny black polka dots border the very edge of the scalloped hemline, then a garland of the pretty purple roses along with an occasional yellow rose tucked in. There is a smaller circle of purple roses in the very center framing this are wreaths of the purple roses with tiny yellow flowers. A really graceful design! This vintage handkerchief is in excellent vintage condition. Measures about 13" across.

According to the book Collecting Handkerchiefs,"perhaps the most unusual type of handkerchief is the round. Produced briefly in the 1940’s and into the 1950’s, the shape wasn’t very popular at the time. It is however, popular with present-day collectors who love to find these uniquely shaped hankies."
