Pretty vintage ladies round handkerchief. I call this color lavender blue, the roses are a blue shade with lavender shading. There is a single large rose in the center surrounded by scattered small roses. Framing the center of the hankie & bordering the scalloped edge is a chain of the lavender blue roses. Between the two rows of roses are smaller pink and yellow flowers. Sweet design. Hankie measures about 12" across and is in very nice vintage condition with no damage.

According to the book Collecting Handkerchiefs,"perhaps the most unusual type of handkerchief is the round. Produced briefly in the 1940’s and into the 1950’s, the shape wasn’t very popular at the time. It is however, popular with present-day collectors who love to find these uniquely shaped hankies."
