Lovely vintage ladies black mourning handkerchief, perfect unused with original tags attached. In days gone by a lady was never without her handkerchief in her purse or pocket. Since some of the more elaborate or colorful hankies were not appropriate for all occasions, hence was the creation of the mourning hankie. This pretty hankie does have a bit of color on it with the embroidered flowers done in orange, red and blue. Handkerchief has 2 labels, one reads: by Klauber, the second reads: Rayon Woven and embroidered in Switzerland. Hankie still has original folds and measures about 9" square.
