Beautiful unused vintage linen handkerchief with original label attached.  Tag reads A Burmel Original Irish Linen, and the hankie has a hand rolled hemline. Each of the four corners features a trio of blooming grey oriental poppies along with small white daisies and blue flowers. There are small flowers scattered in the center also. The color is actually deeper than the photos show. Rust or brick would be the best description of the color.  A wonderful addition to any vintage hankies collection. Burmel was one of the most well known handkerchief makers, famous for their ads in Vogue Magazines in the 1940’s.
