Just a beautiful vintage ladies handkerchief with purple and white violets design. Hankie is trimmed with a deep purple edges and bordered with the purple violets. Scattered in the middle are small bunches of the violets as well as single stems of flowers. In Victorian times violets stood for faithfulness, so this would be the perfect hankie for an ever faithful friend! Lovely gift for any vintage hankies or textile collector. Also would be charming framed. Excellent vintage condition with no damage. Hankie measures about 13" square.
