Hanky measures about 10" square and has a dainty scalloped hemline. Being a symbol of purity and  new beginnings Lily of the Valley are the most cherished of wedding flowers. lily of the Valley are also the  birthday flower for the month of May. The dainty lillies are sometimes known as Mary’s tears as it is said that Mary’s tears turned into Lily of the Valley at the foot of the cross.
